Painting and sketching are where I slow down and notice patterns I can’t see in equations or code. A sketch starts with uncertainty, lines wandering until they find structure, and a painting grows in layers, each one adjusting the last and revealing connections I hadn’t expected. In creating, I bring the same curiosity and patience I use in data, AI, or research: observing, experimenting, and letting ideas emerge rather than forcing them.

DRAWING & PAINTING

THE LANGUAGE OF ART

Art reminds me that understanding isn’t always about answers, sometimes it’s about questions and paying attention along the way.

Creating is quietly restorative. The rhythm of brush and pencil keeps me focused, energized, and even a little excited in ways calculation can’t. There’s a thrill in a curve, a shadow, or the way space opens up. Sketching and painting let intuition lead, and I love that mix of play, discovery, and reflection.

This site, like my art, reflects that balance: technical and creative, analytical and intuitive, ambitious but still learning. Each page is a layer, some playful, some technical, some personal; and together they form a whole that’s still unfolding, alive, and quietly exciting.

Art teaches me to slow down, embrace curiosity, and see how patience and observation shape both ideas and the person I’m becoming.
