I founded Together We Play Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, because I wanted to make tennis accessible to athletes with intellectual disabilities because I saw firsthand how transformative sport can be. What started as a simple belief that everyone deserves to experience the challenge, joy, and connection of tennis has grown into a community where athletes can thrive on and off the court.

TOGETHER WE PLAY

TOGETHER WE THRIVE

The moments that stick with me aren’t the trophies or stats, but the small victories: a player mastering a serve they once struggled with, the first time an athlete steps onto the court without hesitation, or the friendships that form during practice. Those moments make the work real and meaningful.

Our programs emphasize skill-building, confidence, teamwork, and personal growth, supported by passionate volunteers, student mentors, and community partners who share the same mission.

For me, Together We Play Inc. isn’t just about tennis, it’s about inclusion, empowerment, and community. By removing barriers, advocating for accessible play, and ensuring every athlete has a chance to participate, we’re creating a space where curiosity, effort, and joy can flourish.

Running the organization has been an education in itself. I’ve organized clinics, coached teams, secured equipment, and launched fundraising initiatives, all with the goal of creating spaces where athletes can shine.
